When it comes to selecting a covering for your floors and wall, tiles are a great option. Tiles are durable, stylish, and can be maintained easily. Traditionally, tiles have been thought of as items that are only used for bathrooms and the kitchen. Today this isn’t the case. Instead, tiles are used all over the house, in whatever room you please. However, with the multiple tile choices in the market, it can be hard to know which tile to go for. Porcelain Tile

This is better than clay ceramic tiles. It’s made using a high quartz and silica ratio, baked at high temperatures. Characteristically, these tiles are sturdier than their counterpart, the red clay ceramic tiles.

Ceramic tiles are popularly used in home improvement projects. Ceramic tiles are the most popular tile choice for homeowners because they are durable and affordable. They are used in almost any room in the home, including the entrance, kitchen, and bathroom.

Granite tiles

Granite is known to be characterized by naturally appearing flecks and specks of color entrenched within. It is used as a tile both in flooring and in countertops. It is relatively hard and less vulnerable to cracks and chips. Granite is a perfect choice for countertops and wet areas as it is fairly waterproof.

Marble Tile

This is a natural stone tile material that is known to be relatively expensive. Characteristically, marble is a bold, elegant, and unmatched choice. It simply cannot be duplicated by other materials Marble is also created in such a manner that it can withstand immense pressure and heat.

This is a perfect choice for shower and backsplash tile. In comparison with other tiles, glass tile offers the most significant level of resistance to stains. However, their shortcoming is the fact that they crack easily when something drops on them.
